Samsung Urges Galaxy Users to Turn On New Security Features for Better Protection

Phone theft is still a major problem, especially in big cities worldwide. Even though Google has rolled out stronger anti-theft measures for Android, many people don’t realize these features exist—leaving them unable to remotely lock their phones or protect their data if their device gets stolen. To help fix this, Samsung is teaming up with the UK Home Office to spread awareness. The company has started sending out security alerts through its Samsung Members app and other channels, reminding Galaxy owners to enable these crucial protections. They’re even putting up ads in busy parts of London to get the word out. Musk, who had already reduced his involvement with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), confirmed his departure in a May 28 post on X.
