Ferrari (RACE.MI) Hybrid Unveiling
Ferrari (RACE.MI) unveiled an updated hybrid lineup on Tuesday with the debut of the 296 Speciale and its convertible variant, marking a strategic update ahead of its inaugural fully electric model debut later this year.
The luxury automaker, set to reveal its first fully electric vehicle in October, introduced the two new plug-in hybrid models during an event at its historic Maranello, Italy, headquarters.
The 296 Speciale models serve as the final evolution of the 2021 Ferrari 296 platform, which is nearing the end of its production cycle. The updates aim to bridge the brand’s current hybrid offerings with its impending shift to full electrification.
